Medical Provider | Chief Clinical & Operations Officer
Melissa McClintock, MSN, FNP-C, serves as Chief Clinical & Operations Officer and Family Nurse Practitioner at Northland Health Centers. She is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and holds certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and is a DOT Examiner. Melissa earned an Associate Degree of Applied Science in Surgical
Technology, an Associate Degree in Nursing, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has over 20 years of experience working in healthcare.
Melissa provides care to patients across the lifespan, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, with a strong passion for serving rural, underprivileged, and underserved communities. She commonly treats acute and chronic medical conditions, urgent care and emergency concerns, women’s health needs, injuries, and preventive health issues. Her clinical background includes urgent care, emergency medicine, family practice, cardiology, infusion therapy, surgery, and DOT physical examinations. Her approach to care is patient-centered and whole-person, grounded in collaboration, compassion, and evidence-based medicine. She values patient education and shared decision-making to empower patients to take an active role in their healthcare. Outside of work, Melissa enjoys traveling and exploring new places, spending time with family, walking her dogs, staying active, and balancing a busy clinical career with personal wellness and time outdoors.

Kayla Abrahamson, DNP, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is licensed as a Doctor of Nursing Practice-Family Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Abrahamson earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mary in 2006 and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Mary in 2017. She has been practicing since 2017 as a Nurse Practitioner and brings an additional 11 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Dr. Abrahamson proudly serves patients of all ages, with a focus on rural health care for residents of Sheridan and McLean counties in North Dakota. She commonly treats conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, depression and anxiety, asthma and COPD, arthritis, preventative health needs, and acute infections. She is committed to being a trusted source of health care information and provides care through a collaborative, patient-centered approach. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends, attending sporting events, and staying active in her community through her church, the McClusky-Goodrich PTO, and the local Ambulance Board.

Medical Provider
Brooke Thom, DNP, FNP-C, is a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner at Northland Health Centers. She is licensed as a Registered Nurse through the North Dakota Board of Nursing and is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Brooke is also trained in Medication Assisted Treatment. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Jamestown and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from North Dakota State University, and she has been practicing since 2021.
Brooke provides care for patients of all ages across the lifespan, with a focus on underserved populations and individuals experiencing addiction. She commonly treats chronic health conditions and substance use disorders, including alcohol and opioid dependence. Her clinical expertise includes medication for addiction treatment, Nexplanon placement, and Hepatitis C treatment. Brooke takes a patient-centered, collaborative approach to care, partnering with patients to understand their goals and tailor treatment plans through compassionate, evidence-based discussion and shared decision-making.
Outside of work, Brooke enjoys spending time with her son and family, especially being outdoors at the lake, swimming, and traveling together to experience new places.

Caitlin Olson, PA-C is a Physician Assistant. She is nationally certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota. She began practicing in 2021, with three of those years spent serving patients at Northland Health Centers.
Caitlin provides care for a diverse population across rural western North Dakota, from infants and children to adults and older adults, including patients from a wide range of cultural and language backgrounds. She treats a broad range of concerns such as acute illnesses, preventive and wellness care, chronic conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, and provides Medicare visits, well child checks, sports physicals, medication assisted treatment for opioid use disorder, and DOT physicals. Her care approach is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on preventive care, early screening, and addressing the root causes of health concerns to help patients reach their long term health goals.
Outside of work, Caitlin enjoys spending time with her family, keeping up with her busy young son, getting outdoors when the weather is nice, and relaxing with a good movie or book.

Tasha Leier, FNP-C is a Family Nurse Practitioner serving as a Minot Medical Clinic provider in family practice. She is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is also certified in Nexplanon removal and insertion. Tasha earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Minot State University and her Master of Science in Nursing in Leadership and Management from Western Governors University. She has been practicing since 2023.
Tasha provides care for patients of all ages and stages of life. She commonly treats high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid disorders, high cholesterol, birth control needs, sexually transmitted infections, and common illnesses such as COVID, influenza, ear infections, pneumonia, bronchitis, and croup, and also addresses hormone related concerns.

Jessica Rost, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner providing primary care. She is licensed through the North Dakota Board of Nursing and board certified through AANPCB. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of North Dakota and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Dakota. Jessica has been practicing as a nurse practitioner since 2022 and began her healthcare career in 2009. Jessica cares for patients of all ages, from infants to older adults, and is proud to provide family care to the Rolette community. She treats a wide range of conditions and works to ensure patients receive the care they need, including connecting them with specialists when appropriate. Her background across many areas of healthcare has helped her become a well-rounded provider. Jessica takes a patient-centered and collaborative approach, recognizing that each person’s needs are unique and that quality care often involves a team. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, cooking, painting, and continuing to learn more about medicine and healthcare.
